Anglesea Power Station
Tours of the Anglesea Power Station and Coal Mine provide an insight into the way coal is mined, how power is generated, how Alcoa works to return mined land to a self-sustaining heathland ecosystem and the beauty of the Anglesea Heath.
Tours are held on week days and are free of charge. Our experienced guides link the information showcased on the tour to curriculum learning areas as well as providing detail on key environmental and community interest areas.
