Community Partnerships
It is our aim to ensure the communities where Alcoa operates have networks that create opportunities for people, organisations and business to participate more fully in the economic, social and cultural areas of that community.
Alcoa Anglesea supports the local community through its Partnering Stronger Communities program. The program incorporates financial and in-kind support and focuses on a shared commitment to making local communities stronger and a better place to live and work.
In 2007, Alcoa Anglesea, in partnership with Alcoa Point Henry, supported over 120 partners and provided more than $500,000 to support community projects under its Partnering Stronger Communities program.
