Community Consultation Network (CCN)

The Community Consultation Network (CCN) is a consultative group that is made up of Alcoa employees, local residents, Surf Coast Shire representatives, community groups and the EPA.

The CCN has operated since 2001 and is an opportunity for two-way communication regarding issues that are important to Alcoa Anglesea and the local community.

Alcoa and the CCN have been working hard to strengthen this community engagement process over the years. Together we focus to ensure membership is an appropriate representation of the local community and that the dialogue remains relevant and reflects both the interests of Alcoa and the Anglesea community.

The CCN meets bi-monthly on a Monday evening in Anglesea from 7-9pm (RSVPs essential).

For more information about the CCN or to express your interest in becoming a member, contact the Community Relations Officer on 5263 4249 or at angleseaps@alcoa.com.au.

Alcoa Anglesea actively seeks opportunities to eliminate waste, conserve resources and reduce pollution. We report regularly on the progress of our Environmental Improvement Plan and other important issues through these CCN meetings.

Alcoa Anglesea would also like to acknowledge and thank those members of the Anglesea community who have engaged with us through the CCN and other forums over many years.
