Alcoa in Australia

One of the big advantages of the Alcoa eBusiness solution is the fact that the new system is flexible enough to suit all suppliers, large and small. Another major advantage is that the new system is easy to use and in most cases will not require suppliers to undertake training.

The only area of the eBusiness solution where users will require training is in the new online claims system.  All suppliers who currently submit claims online will need to attend the Online Claims training prior to the 5 May 2003 change over.

Online Claims Training

All suppliers who currently use either the CAPS or SLAM systems will need to change over to the new Online Claims system.  Anyone impacted by the new Online Claims system will have already attended training.

If you have questions about Online Claims training contact Natalie Ramuta on (03) 52451360 or Lyn Bathgate on (08) 9316 5488.

eBusiness Help Desk
When we implement the eBusiness solution, Alcoa will put in place an eBusiness Help Desk for suppliers.  Suppliers will be able to use this support service to obtain help in using the new system or logging issues and faults.

Details about the eBusiness Help Desk will be published on this site in late April 2003.

In the meantime, suppliers who would like to register their interest in converting to one of the electronic channels for their business transactions with us should go to the Contact Us page and send an email advising us of the options you would like to consider.
