What we look for in a Partner

Alcoa of Australia focuses on working with communities to find solutions through joint projects.
Rather than just offering financial support, we also work to build capacity in the community sector through volunteering or in-kind support.

All our partnerships are guided by a clear strategy, while unsolicited proposals are strongly discouraged and unlikely to be funded.
Alcoa's 'Partnering Stronger Communities' program does not support:
  • Individuals
  • Travel expenses
  • Political or sectarian events or organisations
  • Commercial activity
  • Prize money for professional sport
  • Activities that could be construed as gambling
  • Religious programs or organisations whose services are limited to members of one religious group
  • Trips, conferences, seminars, festivals, one-day events, unless they are a part of an approved program activity
  • Endowment funds, capital campaigns, or funds directed towards deficit reduction or operating reserves
  • Fundraising events or sponsorships (walk/runs, golf tournaments, sports teams, tickets, tables, benefits, raffles, souvenir programs, advertising, fundraising dinners, etc.)
  • Documentaries or videos
Thanks for your interest in Alcoa of Australia.
