HEALTH & SAFETY CONSULTANT
 PINJARRA REFINERY, Australia

 Pinjarra’s, Health and Safety team is seeking a suitably qualified safety professional whose key objective will be to set direction and establish site specific safety programs and policies to assist the business in meeting its safety requirements.

 Reporting to the Health & Safety Manager, your key responsibility will be for facilitating the continuous improvement of departmental safety and providing advice on all safety matters to employees. You will be instrumental in organising safety plan development amongst the work crews and reporting on safety and injury performance.  Another strong focus will be for you to investigate and advise on new safety management initiatives and ensuring that statutory safety requirements are fulfilled.
 
As the successful candidate you will have previous H&S related experience in an industrial environment. With excellent interpersonal and communication skills you will have the ability to lead people in the continuous improvement of health and safety systems and performance. Formal tertiary qualifications are also desirable for this position.
