ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
PINJARRA REFINERY, Australia
An opportunity currently exists for a suitably qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Pinjarra Refinery.
As an Electrical Engineer you will play an integral role in supporting operations and maintenance. In this role you will identify long term opportunities for improvement through a focus on equipment reliability, application of capital and expert assistance. You will also provide single point accountability for engineering support in the day to day operations. As part of the Plant Reliability Engineering team, you will play a key part in production optimisation, by applying reliability engineering principles to equipment performance and solutions to equipment based problems through failure and root cause analysis techniques. You will also be analysing and providing data to the operations to ensure that life cycle costs and performance are optimised To ensure your success in this role, you must possess a tertiary qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering and have the ability to communicate at all levels. A demonstrated commitment to Environment, Health and Safety is essential as is previous experience in a plant engineering environment. Previous experience in maintenance, reliability or plant engineering with knowledge of distributed control, PLCs, flow control and instrumentation and industrial electrical distribution will be highly regarded. You will be self motivated with a desire to learn new skills, and have a sound track record in pro-active problem solving. Your use of initiative and a desire to continuously improve business performance will be utilised in a dynamic team environment.
