Alcoa Australia Rolled Products (AARP) specialises in the manufacture of aluminium rolled products for both the domestic and international markets at its two sites and operates Australia’s largest aluminium recycling facility at its Yennora operations in Western Sydney

Our Engineers play a key role in supporting the plant to achieve its strategic production, product quality and cost objectives. We are seeking a number of Process Engineers – Mechanical, to join our Yennora operations. We have opportunities for either full time positions or possible job share opportunities. As a Process Engineer you will support Alcoa Australia Rolled Products to find solutions that maximise the performance of equipment, reduce costs and improve environmental, health and safety performance. You will identify long term opportunities for improvement through a focus on applying reliability engineering principles to equipment and capital. You will also be required to analyse and provide data to our operations, ensuring that life cycle costs and performance are optimised. You will be a single point of accountability for engineering support in day to day operations. To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- A demonstrated commitment to the environment, health & safety;
- Experience in a plant engineering environment;
- Proven project management skills and a strong track record in proactive problem solving.
