We currently have a challenging opportunity for a highly energetic professional to join the Management team at the Wagerup refinery as the Central Services Manager. 
 
The Central Services Manager is an integral member of the Refinery Management team and is responsible for all management aspects of leading an Operating Centre including safety, environment, contracting services, cost management.  The role also contributes to the leadership of the broader Alcoa equipment management by representing the refinery in the WA, AWA Equipment and Contracting Services management forums established to ensure best practice.                                                                                                     

The primary function of this role is to manage and lead the Central Services Group, such that they provide a safe and efficient service to the refinery. This group comprises 20 to 30% of the total refinery employees including Shift Maintenance, Electrical/Instrumentation Group, plus many other smaller service groups.  It is also responsible for ensuring the safe and cost effective management of the site contractors and ensures Alcoa policies and procedures are followed.
 
This is a large role which requires strong leadership skills, flexibility and tenacity to manage in an environment of constant change and continuous improvement, while deploying best equipment practice that maximizes the uptime of equipment.

To be successful in this role you will have excellent communication skills, a demonstrated ability to develop and foster teams, build a culture of both team and individual excellence and to deliver results against key business objectives in particular, the delivery of a cost effective service. Candidates with extensive supervisory experience with a minimum of 7 years and/or an Engineering degree are encouraged to apply.
