An opportunity exists for a talented Maintenance Area Planner to join the team at Alcoa’s Wagerup Refinery.

The Area Planner builds plans to maximise equipment reliability and availability by management of maintenance and operating strategies. They ensure detailed project plans are prepared, scoped and resourced for major equipment outages. The role also facilitates follow up reviews for major equipment outages to seek improvements in equipment turnaround.
 
Ideally you will possess a mechanical or electrical instrument trade certificate or diploma in engineering and will have experience in a refining, mining or heavy industrial environment.   Alternatively, a high level diploma, associate or bachelor degree in a maintenance or engineering related field will be highly regarded. A familiarity with a wide range of software packages, including maintenance management systems will be beneficial.  
 
As a motivated and results oriented team player, you will have a strong safety focus and excellent communication and organisation skills.
