Wagerup Refinery currently has a vacancy for an Electrical & Instrument Technician.

As an E&I Technician at Wagerup Refinery, you will be responsible for providing expert technical E&I support.  This support includes working on process fault diagnosis, planned and unplanned maintenance activities, installation and maintenance of electrical and instrumentation equipment, quality calibrations, meeting WA Electrical and Mining Regulatory requirements and critical breakdown analysis, while working safely and autonomously.  You will also be responsible for problem solving of advanced process control systems and maintenance and operation of HV and LV power distribution system equipment.

You will hold dual-trade qualification (Electrical and Instrumentation) and have significant experience applying trade skills in mining, power generation, chemical or oil & gas environments.  Experience in Honeywell DCS and Allen Bradley PLC systems is highly desirable. A working knowledge of WA Electrical regulatory requirements, the ability to document work history and a current WA Electrical Licence is essential for this role.
