As a powerhouse controller, you will assist in the day-to-day operation of the Refinery Powerhouse, to ensure a reliable supply of energy (steam, electricity and compressed air). You will operate and monitor equipment, commission new or overhauled machinery, ensure maintenance and energy management plan compliance and rotate through all operational roles, undergoing extensive theoretical and practical training.
As part of the operations team these roles currently work either a 10.3 or 12 hour shift pattern, and report directly to the shift Coordinator. There may also be opportunities to work at our other locations in Kwinana and Pinjarra.
In order to meet the challenges of this role, you will possess a minimum of National Occupational Certificate of Competency in Intermediate Boilers (BI) and Turbine Operation (TO). Previous experience in condition monitoring, distributive control and cogeneration operations will be highly regarded.
