COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER
12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT

We have an exciting opportunity to join Alcoa as a Communications Officer for our Victorian Operations. This position can be based at either Pt. Henry, Geelong or Portland, South West Victoria.

This pivotal role is responsible for designing and providing internal and external communication programs that support the business objectives of the Point Henry and Portland Aluminium Smelters, Anglesea Power Station and the wider objectives of the company.  You will maintain and enhance mutual lines of communications, understanding and acceptance and co-operation between the company, its workforce, and the communities within which it operates.
 
You will be tertiary qualified and have experience in a similar role where you have used your exceptional communication skills in a variety of challenging situations. To succeed in this role, you will be able to demonstrate a high level of commitment and drive while operating efficiently within a team environment. You will have a proven ability to operate under pressure, and have demonstrated interpersonal skills that enable you to build confident two way interactions with stakeholders at all levels. Excellent written and verbal communication and attention to detail is critical in this role.
