Michael A. Pepper

Michael A. Pepper, president, Alcoa Power and Propulsion, has 24 years of experience in the aerospace industry and has served in several leadership roles in sales, marketing, and engineering.  Prior to his most recent appointment in January 2011 as vice president, Business Excellence, Michael served as vice president of Strategy and general manager, Aerospace Airfoils, Alcoa Howmet; vice president and general manager, Howmet Products and Services; and general manager of the company’s casting operations in Whitehall, Michigan; Laval, Quebec; and Exeter, UK.  He previously held a series of engineering, manufacturing, and management positions at the Wichita Falls, Texas casting operations. Michael began his career with Alcoa Howmet in 1987. 
  
Mr. Pepper is a graduate of Midwestern State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree.  He has successfully completed the University of Tennessee's Executive Development Program and has been recognized with Midwestern State University's Distinguished Alumni Award.
