Alcoa Power and Propulsion

Michael Pepper was named Chairman, Alcoa Power and Propulsion (APP) in January 2016.  Besides overall leadership for APP, Mike will lead special projects and assignments that cross all Alcoa Engineered Products & Solutions (EPS) business units. EPS consists of a diversified portfolio of three businesses: Alcoa Fastening Systems and Rings; Forgings and Extrusions; and Power and Propulsion.  The core focus of these businesses is on the aerospace market.
Mike most recently was President, Alcoa Power and Propulsion, a position he assumed in 2011.  He has nearly 30 years of experience in the aerospace industry and has served in several leadership roles in sales, marketing, and engineering with APP.  Before taking on the business unit president assignment, Mike served as vice president of Strategy and general manager, Aerospace Airfoils, Alcoa Howmet; vice president and general manager, Howmet Products and Services; and general manager of the company’s casting operations in Whitehall, Michigan; Laval, Quebec; and Exeter, United Kingdom.  He previously held a series of engineering, manufacturing, and management positions at the Wichita Falls, Texas casting operations.
Mike is a graduate of Midwestern State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.  He has successfully completed the University of Tennessee's Executive Development Program and has been recognized with Midwestern State University's Distinguished Alumni Award.
