Paul Myron is Vice President, Finance for the Alcoa Power and Propulsion (APP) business. He is responsible for all of APP’s finance activities, serving as a strategic partner and member of the APP Leadership Team to develop and execute the APP business strategy.
 
Paul joined Alcoa in 1989 as a systems analyst in Pittsburgh and in 1992 relocated to the company’s Davenport, (Iowa) facility as a product accountant.  He returned to Pittsburgh in 1995 and served in numerous financial management positions until 2000 when he was named Commercial Manager and Controller for the Atlantic division of Alcoa World Alumina and Chemicals business.  In 2002, Paul relocated to the New York Office as Vice President of Finance, Alcoa Primary Metals and later became Vice President of Finance, Alcoa World Alumina and Chemicals.  Paul returned to Pittsburgh again in 2005 as Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, accountable for Alcoa’s financial planning, analysis, and reporting worldwide.  In February 2012, he became Director of Finance Initiatives for the Engineered Products and Solutions business, overseeing specific financial initiatives and projects within the group. He was named to his present position in July 2012.
 
Paul received his bachelor’s degree in mathematics with minors in computer science, accounting and physics from St. Francis University in Loretto, Pa. in 1987. He received an MBA with a concentration in Finance and his Master of Science in Management of Information Systems from the University of Pittsburgh in 1989.  He passed the CPA exam in 1990.
