Jerry Faunt Vice President - Quality
Jerry Faunt joined Alcoa in 2006 as vice president, quality, for Alcoa Power and Propulsion. In this role, he is responsible for creating and driving quality initiatives throughout the business unit. He leads and implements best practices, lean principles, and operational excellence into the business unit’s day-to-day operations and culture.
Prior to joining Alcoa, Jerry gained valuable leadership experience as director, quality, North American Wheels Group, for Hayes Lemmerz International, Inc., in Michigan, where he had oversight of several global manufacturing operations and an engineering facility. Previously, he served as director, quality, North American Original Equipment Emission Control, for Tenneco Automotive, Michigan. Jerry also was employed by General Motors Truck Group, responsible for all aspects of supplier quality and performance.
He holds the rank of Major in the United States Army.
Jerry earned both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan, in chemical engineering and manufacturing engineering, respectively. He also has attended the Executive Education Program at the University of Michigan, Ross Business School.
