Rebecca Cranford
Director – Environmental, Health & Safety

Rebecca Cranford, currently serves as Alcoa Power and Propulsion’s Director – Environmental, Health & Safety.  Ms. Cranford joined APP in late 2010 as Manager, Safety, supporting operations on a wide range of safety initiatives.  From 2005 to 2010, she served as Manager, EHS, Cleveland Works, Ohio, where her team implemented education, employee engagement and communications strategies to achieve a 45% reduction in the All Injury Rate and a 63% reduction in TRR over a three-year period. At the same time, she led EHS programs at Alcoa Howmet, Tempcraft (Cleveland). She joined Alcoa in 1998 as a regional EHS manager at Alcoa Fujikura in Franklin, Tennessee.
 
Ms. Cranford holds a bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and environmental management from Slippery Rock University. In 2010 she was named a Rising Star of Safety by the National Safety Council in Safety + Health magazine.
