Regular Cleaning
Clean wheels regularly with steam or water. Use of neutral cleaner is recommended. Do not use highly alkaline products or acid cleaners.

Corrosion
Due to aluminum's natural resistance to corrosion, Alcoa forged aluminum wheels never need to be painted.

Hints for long wheel life
Even with the superiority of the natural characteristics of the wheel, do not overload the vehicle above the specified weight, avoid sharp impacts, and avoid hitting the curb. The rim may wear down after some years of use. With proper procedure in a few minutes the wheel may be put back into service without risking the tire (consult Alcoa Safety and Service Manual).Never try to repair the wheel. The special aluminum band used on the wheel is heat-treated and any uncontrolled heating may weaken the wheel.Never weld the wheel for any reason, risking serious or fatal accidents.
