Profile: Bruce works for Granite Construction hauling rock, gravel and sand. He is an active member of the American Truck Historical Society and participates in show truck events. Through the years, he’s had trucks with Alcoa aluminum wheels. He currently runs a 2000 Peterbilt truck. He also owns a 1990 Fruehauf flat-bed trailer that has eight Alcoa wheels on it. Bruce started his trucking career in 1956. “I have preferred Alcoa wheels since buying my first truck in 1957 and am still using them today. Size 10.00 -22 tires on the Sterling/White, size 11R24.5 tires on the newest truck. I like Alcoa – they’re just good wheels. They perform great. I haven’t had any failures. Anything I do has Alcoa on it.”
