Alcoa Wheels Manufacturer's Warranty – Aftermarket & Specialty OEM Wheels
ONE-PIECE FORGINGS

Lifetime Limited Structural Warranty for Aftermarket & Specialty OEM Wheels

Alcoa warrants to the original purchaser that a new Alcoa one-piece forged aluminum Aftermarket & Specialty
OEM wheel is free from structural defects in material and workmanship and agrees, without charge, to repair or
replace a wheel which fails in normal use and service because of structural defects in material and workmanship. Wheels are warranted to the original purchaser for the life of the wheel. Proof of original ownership shall be evidenced by invoice or bill of sale in the name of the original purchaser. This warranty is not transferable. Alcoa does not warrant the surface treatment of Alcoa polished one piece forgings. The warranties for the surface treatment of Alcoa Camo™ Wheels, Alcoa Dura-Bright® technology wheels and chromed wheels do not apply to Alcoa polished one-piece forgings.

3-year Limited Surface Treatment Warranty for Alcoa CAMO™ Wheels

Alcoa warrants the surface treatment of an Alcoa Camo™ Wheel for 36 months from the date of
manufacture. This warranty is valid for the original purchaser. Proof of original ownership shall be
evidenced by invoice or bill of sale in the name of the original purchaser. This warranty is not
transferable.

3-year Limited Chrome Finish Warranty for Alcoa Aftermarket & Specialty OEM Wheels

Alcoa warrants the factory chrome finish of Alcoa Aftermarket & Specialty OEM Wheels for 36
months from the date of purchase. This warranty covers only peeling and separation of the chrome
from the wheel. This warranty does not cover surface rust, corrosion, blemishes, nicks, scratches,
or other surface imperfections. Our sole and exclusive obligation under this warranty will be to
repair or replace, at our sole discretion, any product which does not conform to this warranty and is
returned for visual inspection. This warranty is valid for the original purchaser. Proof of original
ownership shall be evidenced by invoice or bill of sale in the name of the original purchaser. This
warranty is not transferable.

3-year Limited Surface Treatment Warranty for Alcoa Dura-Bright® Technology Wheels

Alcoa warrants the surface treatment of an Alcoa Dura-Bright® Technology Wheel for 36 months
from the date of manufacture. This warranty is valid for the original purchaser. Proof of original
ownership shall be evidenced by invoice or bill of sale in the name of the original purchaser. This
warranty is not transferable.

Warranty Limitations

Alcoa does not warrant and will not repair or replace or make adjustment with respect to any wheel
that has been subjected to misuse or abuse, including the following:

• Using a tire that is oversized according to standards recommended by the Tire and
  Rim Association, Inc.
• Loading the wheel beyond the applicable maximum wheel load as specified by
  Alcoa.
• Inflating the tire beyond the applicable maximum as specified by Alcoa.
• Changing the original condition of the wheel by alteration or by subjecting it to any
  processing such as welding or straightening.
• Accidents, abnormal or severe operating conditions including, without limitation,
  tire fires, brake fires, severe brake system drags, or driving during seizures or with
  a flat tire.
• Failing to follow maintenance and other instructions and warnings set forth in the
  Alcoa Wheel Service Manual, Alcoa Technical Bulletins and other Alcoa Wheels
  literature. Recommended maintenance includes, without limitation, using proper
  torque, periodic cleaning, valve replacement, and inspection for damage, loose lug
  nuts and rim flange wear.
• Improper maintenance, cleaning, road debris, curbing, accident or operation
  resulting in nicks, scratches and other surface blemishes.
• Using a spacer or adaptor of any kind. A spacer or adaptor may weaken the wheel
  causing a failure and/or the lug nuts may not have enough engagement length.
• Using the wheel in racing or competition.
• Installing the wheel without the correct lug nuts or procedures.
• Damaging the surface during tire mounting and installation due to the use of
  improper tools or by balancing with clip on wheel weights.
• Damaging the surface due to neglect, road salt, harsh conditions or improper wheel
  care.
• Cleaning with abrasives, abrasive brushes, steel wool, scouring pads or strong
  chemicals or harsh car washes. Alcoa Camo™ wheels, Alcoa Dura-Bright®
  technology wheels and Alcoa wheels with a chrome finish should be cleaned with
  mild soap and water.

This warranty is void if the original invoice or sales receipt is not available for verification, or upon
transfer of title on any products by the original purchaser.

THERE IS NO WARRANTY THAT THE WHEEL SHALL BE MERCHANTABLE OR SATISFACTORY FOR ANY
PARTICULAR PURPOSE. NOR IS THERE ANY OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, EXCEPT
SUCH AS IS EXPRESSLY SET FORTH HEREIN.

ALCOA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR ANY
BREACH OF WARRANTY, ITS LIABILITY AND THE PURCHASER’S EXCLUSIVE REMEDY BEING
LIMITED TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE WHEEL AS STATED IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.

Repair or replacement will be handled by an Alcoa Wheel representative. This warranty gives you
specific legal rights. You may have additional rights covered under applicable laws.
