 Forged Aluminum


Alcoa wheels are forged from aluminum stock by an 8,000 ton press. This process conforms the microstructure of the metal to the wheel shape to create a stronger wheel.
 
Strength Test
Alcoa forged aluminum wheels scored 4.3 times harder than steel wheel in the load distortion test (5cm distortion)…which means Alcoa wheels are more than 4 times stronger than steel wheels.
