New 22.5 x 11.75, 120 mm offset Alcoa wheel with 5000 kg load index

In CW 49/2011 Alcoa Wheel Products Europe introduces a new 22.5 x 11.75 wheel with 120 mm offset and 5000 kg load index for truck front steer axles and trailer axles. The new wheel weighs only 23.6 kg and is available with Ø 26mm mounting holes in four finishes:

Rim flanges are engineered to a unified rim flange design, allowing to accommodate both adhesive and clip-on balancing weights.
 
The new FrontRunner® is interchangeable with the current wheels and has passed European LBF Eurocycle tests, as well as SAE J267 wheels/rim truck tests. Volvo Trucks will switch completely from the FrontRunner® with 4500 kg load index to the new wheel with 5000 kg load index. The wheel is also available at trailer OEMs for vehicles with 10 ton load axles.
