Product and Design Characteristics Bumper Beams: Capable of 6XXX and 7XXX continuous bending extrusion work. This can reduce processes to one manufacturing process compared to previous "cold bending work" and the like. Body Configuration Parts (AVDC) (Alcoa, vacuum die cast): Design and manufacture of thin (walls as thin as 1.6 mm) parts such as A to C pillars, window shields, and door parts with a projected area of 1.2 m x 1.6 m. Sub-Frames: (VRC/PRC) Design and manufacture of large hollow products such as sub-frames by Alcoa's proprietary VRC/PRC (vacuum and pressure riserless casting) method. Suspensions: (VRC/PRC/forging) Design and manufacture of arm-rod and knuckle-ring VRC/PRC, and forged products. Space Frames: (extrusion and AVDC) Assembly of frames by joining nodes between extrusion beams and AVDC. Bumper Systems: (AGSC/extrusion) Design and manufacture of collision energy absorption system parts by assembling extruded bumpers, energy absorption box parts, and AGSC (Alcoa Green Sand Casting) brackets.
