Creating Quality and Value in Cargo Conversion
A commitment to quality, innovation and value. That’s what you can expect from Alcoa-SIE Cargo Conversions, and it’s what we will deliver.
At Alcoa-SIE Cargo Conversions, we know your success depends on keeping your planes flying. You can’t afford costly downtime, malfunctions or mistakes. You need a reliable fleet. You need planes that can do the job. You need planes that are configured to haul the most freight at the lowest possible cost.
Our goal is to help your company soar to new heights, above the clouds and on the ground, by developing optimal solutions to your needs. Innovative solutions like 14Plus to convert the stalwart Boeing 757-200 into an affordable and highly reliable freight carrier.
Alcoa-SIE Cargo Conversions was formed in 2003 with your needs in mind, backed by the strength and technical competence of Alcoa, the world’s leading producer of aluminum sheet, components and alloys for the aerospace industry.
Alcoa has played a pivotal role in the aerospace industry since the dawn of powered flight in 1903. That was the year The Pittsburgh Reduction Company — which later became Alcoa — provided the aluminum for the engine crankcase on the Wright Brothers’ Flyer. Alcoa’s legacy of achievement in aerospace continues today.
Alcoa-SIE Cargo Conversions is an Alcoa company joined with Structural Integrity Engineering, a Simi Valley, California-based company that has been providing engineering services to the aviation industry since 1981.
ASCC integrates Alcoa’s financial strength and proven production and technical capabilities with SIE’s capabilities in design, analysis and certification as demonstrated by SIE’s 23 Supplemental Type Certificates.
Alcoa, SIE and Boeing. Three names you can trust for freighters that will be flying and generating revenue for years to come.
