Alcoa Howmet's Morristown, Tennessee, facility is a top supplier of complex ceramic cores, which form the internal cooling passages of investment-cast turbine airfoils used in the aircraft engine and industrial gas turbine industries.  Alcoa Howmet specializes in the high-volume production of complex ceramic cores used in the casting of reactive and nonreactive single crystal, directional solidification and equiax alloys.  The cores range in size from less than one inch to more than 30 inches in length.  Skilled staff assist customers at every application phase from design to production.
