The design for the Centro Comercial Multiplaza del Este, a shopping and entertainment complex, called for a marriage of the historic and the modern to illustrate the concept of a changing Costa Rica. The result is a striking combination created through the juxtaposition of Reynobond® ACM with old and original materials.
Reynobond® ACM was specified for its sharp, clean-cut, thoroughly modern look that works wonderfully in contrast to the old brick, mosaics and color concrete floors. Alucom S.A. of San José, Costa Rica, fabricated 16,146 square feet of Reynobond® ACM PE in Champagne Metallic with a CW300XL finish and 1,615 square feet of Reynobond® ACM PE in Program Red with a Duragloss® finish into panels used on the exterior and interior walls, column covers, elevator wraps and decorative accents.
