Quantity: 50,000 square feet
To construct a new office building for the Chancellor at California State University, LPA Architects needed a cladding material that was exceedingly strong, but flexible enough to accommodate their unique, non-linear design. Reynobond® Aluminum Composite Material 4 mm PE was the perfect choice.
By using a combination of flat and radius sheet profiles over a 50,000 square foot area, the firm was able to soften the exterior of the contemporary office building with curved walls that seem to flow naturally from one end of the structure to the other. Combined with the use of sunshades, the Reynobond panels also helped deflect the harsh California sun — allowing for ample, filtered light to enter the entire building.
