Alcoa Architectural Products has put forth tremendous efforts at controlling the cost increases which have come to us on raw materials, including aluminum, steel and, particularly, polyethylene, however; it is necessary for AAP to announce a price increase on our product offerings, including Reynobond® Aluminum Composite Materials and Reynolux® Roll Formed and Flat Sheet Products in both steel and aluminum. The increase will be 7% across all product lines and will apply to orders entered on or after August 18, 2008. Where possible, we will honor outstanding quotes for projects requiring material delivery prior to October 1, 2008.
We will continue to make every effort to control our incoming material costs, along with seeking ways to obtain lower cost supplies, and are leveraging the purchasing power of Alcoa wherever possible.
